I met Jesus as a freshman in college at a school known as much for its partying as it is for its academics–the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  Since that time, intellectual, urban, and university communities have remained close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve pastored in a variety of urban and university settings in the Midwest, often bi-vocationally alongside a full time career. I hold a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Currently located in Madison, Wisconsin, I serve as a Marketing professional for a tech company by day, but still love to pastor, counsel and provide ministry consulting services on the side as I’m able. 

Areas of particular experience for me include: the integration of faith, work, and economics; sexual ethics; the church and the LGBTQ* community; addiction; attachment theory; church communications and pastoral counseling. 

If I can serve your church, ministry, or community by providing teaching for a conference, retreat, or training seminar, it would be an honor to do so.  I also provide pastoral counseling for individuals and couples in the Madison area.
